Third entry, despite my earlier intentions to keep it up. Yup, it really is not easy. I log on, remember there's information I need to look up on google, find out they have a 40% off going on at the Loft, or peek on facebook and get caught up on a chat with a friend...then the intent of blogging totally goes out of the window. Yep, that's me! Distractions to destruction!
So it had been months since my last post. My oldest son, 27, has since announced that he really is graduating--finally-- this year. September, to be exact. Well, actually, classes are done in September but the actual ceremony will be in December.
Middle son married his high school sweetheart in April. It was quite a lavish affair (my standard of lavish could be completely different from everyone else's, of course!) that brought over a hundred guests from around the country.
The baby turned 21 in June. But he spent that day away from the family, a first for all of us. Son 3 joined the United States Navy and since his graduation from bootcamp at the end of April, he has been in Goose Creek, South Carolina where he is undergoing training to become a navy nuke.
So, it has been a whirlwind of activities in the household. Now, it's time to slow down a bit, take stock and hopefully, start over with this blog. And every once in a while, I will talk about my favorite things...maybe yours, too!
