I have been blogging for the last five years or so...and in each one, I created exactly ONE post...yup, that's me! The one hit blogger! So, at the heels of 2010, here I go again, starting over.
Why bother? At the age of fifty-three, I'm beginning to realize that it's all true--there's no such thing as immortality. My steps no longer have any spring to them, my bones have that rickety feel. And don't get me started about how parts of my anatomy have started to go further south!
What does blogging have to do with my mortality, you ask. More than anything, it will give me a sense of accomplishment. If I get to blog more than once, won't that be something? It's a challenge to myself, really. Because at this stage, it's rather too late to climb my mountains. But I can still blog.
So, here I am. Again.
